Dear Opera Lovers,

What a great couple of performances we had in Sitka! One of our biggest worries was performing in a space that is completely different than the JDHS Auditorium, but after only 5 hours of restaging with the cast, we managed to create a production for Sitka that reflected what we do in Juneau, yet was still totally unique to the Sheet’ Ka Kwaan Naakahidi. Thank you Sitka residents for helping to make this a very memorable tour!

As of Wednesday, all preparations for re-mounting Dido and Æneas in Juneau are complete, and we can bring this cutting-edge production to Alaska's fair Capital for 2 more performances. Friday and Saturday at 7.30pm. Due to scheduling constraints of our artists and performance spaces, Dido will not be held over! Go see it this weekend, or regret it for the rest of your life!

$15 Seniors and College Students
$5 for High School age and younger

OTG Raffle time is coming to an end as well. The drawing will be held after the performance on the 15th. tickets are $10 each, or 3 for $25. This is our biggest single money-maker of the season, so get your tickets soon, or buy more if you already have! Grand prize is 2 tickets anywhere Alaska Airlines flies (including Hawaii!)

Following Dido closing, our guest artist Amanda Crider will be giving a Masterclass on the 16th of March at 6.30 at the UAS Egan Lecture Hall. As of right now there is only one spot left for singing in the masterclass. Many spaces are still available for auditors (that means that you don't sing for Amanda, but rather can watch her at work and still gain the expert advice that she will give out to the participants).
